The proposal now calls for 108 homes at the Miller Farm property off Farmersville Road in Bethlehem Township. While planners tabled the application, they requested further discussion between the township, developer and other agencies.

Bethlehem residents cast a critical eye toward the proposed redevelopment during a public hearing Tuesday night, and an economic development official said a covenant during prior sales restricts residential uses.

The Bethlehem Planning Commission approved changes in the zoning ordinance that would permit day care facilities at community centers and environmental education centers. City council will also have to approve the changes.
